Even though I still have 16 more weeks until the little one is on the way we have already started on the room. This comes to no shock for those of you who know me well, and know how OCD I am about everything and getting it done the way I want. :)
Here I am waiting so patiently to get the chair rail painted. When we first started we did not know how big of a project this was going to be.
After we tried to paint the chair rail, our awesome and very talented neighbor came over to help us put it up. Alex is taking lots of lessons from this neighbor and he is becoming quite the handy man himself.
Then next came the taping and painting. Alex and I had a good time but we have been painting for two days and we are still only half way done. Needless to say neither of us are going to become professional painters any time soon.
So last but not least Alex put up this beautiful fan all by himself. He learned how to install fans from the fixit neighbor. (It's great to live by people who know how to fix everything.) The paint is still not done but I think we have a good start on things. I can not wait to be done so I can put my house back together and we can start putting up the crib and all the decor.
